Our trip to spain!

 Blog: Spain 24.4.-28.4.2023

Sunday-Monday
 
 In the Sunday morning we got to the train station at around nine and the train left at 9.20. We traveled for about three hours to Helsinki airport. Our flight departed at 15.15 and the trip went nicely. We arrived at Malaga in the evening and then we got a minibus to Aguadulce. Then we arrived at Aguadulce and our host families were waiting there for us with a Finnish flag. Then we went to the houses of our hosts and made ourselves at home. The families were very friendly and welcoming. At Monday morning we woke up early, ate breakfast and left to Almeria. There we went to the English Pier and we were sightseeing and then got interviewed randomly by the Spanish news. Then we were just walking around in Almeria and seeing cool places. It was very beautiful there. Later we went to the beach and got to know our new Spanish friends. We played volleyball and just chilled and swam.
Tuesday-wednesday
 
On Tuesday morning we left to the school and we met the other exchange students from Croatia and Turkey. Then we had presentations about the effects of climate change on agriculture. Then we looked around the school and felt just like circus animals as the students stared at us and were interested in seeing us. After a little break we had some churros with melted chocolate. It tasted amazing. After school we went to the beach and we had paddle boarding, sailing, surfing and cayacing. We also played volleyball again. On Wednesday we visited the Giant Geode. We went to a huge mine where the largest geode in the world is located. After that we went to see the Mermaid Reef. The view was very pretty. Then we went back to Aguadulce and hung out on the beach again.

Thursday-friday

 On Thursday we took a bus to Granada and visited the oldest muslim temple Alhambra which was majestic. There was way too hot. Then we went to eat kebab with our new friends and did a tiny bit of hely-shopping. Then we took the bus and headed back to Aguadulce. In the evening we had a little surprise-party where we ate and danced with the whole group. We were up quite late as we also had to pack our things. Today we woke up feeling sad as it was going to be our last day in Spain. We took a bus and left to Platforma Solar de Almeria. There we got to know new things about solar energy. After being there we went to Mini Hollywood Theme Park and Zoological Reserve. There we saw beautiful new places and some very cool animals. Then we left to Aguadulce and went to the beach. We said goodbyes and cried a little. It was very emotional leaving our new friends there. Then we left with a big cool bus to Malaga.

Our trip to Spain

  We left at 7.30 from our school to Helsinki. We stopped at Lahti to eat and then continued to Helsinki airport. After the check-in our flight took off at 14.20 to Amsterdam where our connecting flight left at 17.50 to Spain, Sevilla. Both flights were a little late, so we arrived at 21.00.     We were so excited to see our host families and we almost ran through the airport to see them . They were waiting us with signs . After meeting them we went to eat together . We were a bit nervous , but all the families were so nice and welcoming . Some of us slept well , but some got only few hours of sleep .     3.9 .   It’s our first day at school. School starts at 8.00. Today we met the students from Turkey and Romania. We did some presentations of our countries and chose a logo for the project. Then we went to eat. We had baguette and juice. It was really good , but the baguette was really big and even for our teach...

11.2 Our trip started at 6:30 from railway station to Helsinki. We stopped at Tikkurila to change a train and then continued to Helsinki Vantaa airport. After we check-in our flight off at 13:30 to Istanbul Sabiha Göcken we went to eat in Burger King. Our flight 20:00 landed to Istanbul airport where our Taxi took us to the hotel. We arrived about at 22:00 to our hotel and then before sleep went to eat something in a restourant which was near out hotel.   12.2  Our day started with breakfest in our hotel, after that we went to visit Haga Sofia with Spanish and Rominian team. After visiting the Haga Sofia we went to a boat toar and played there cards with Romaninan team. About 16:30 we headed to our mini bus and started our trip to Kutahya. after 4 and half hour trip we arrived there and met our host families.
